2026 CATCH UP AND UPDATE

 

It has been quite some time since I last updated. I'm sure most folks haven't noticed which is fine because I totally forgot I had a website. I just figured out how to sync Blogger to my site so now it will be much easier to post without having to navigate a post through html (but I still have to do a little of that).

Over the past 4 months I have been diligently working on old and new projects. I've revived an old project dubbed "The Weight" and have found new satisfaction in converting the tracks into a less electronic style. I've also been working on TFJ vol. 2. It's taken a bit but I've finally hones in on the sound for that next batch of songs. I need to record vocals but I'm holding off until I am out of tracking mode.

 Also in recent news  I am going on tour next month!! I plan on taking a similar route that I took last year so down to New Orleans and back in about a week and a half. The general swing of things is

As you can see there's still a few spots to book. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I definitely have hopes of making it back to Asheville, Atlanta, Birmingham and Knoxville soon. 

Along with tour I'll be releasing some new merch. A new shirt and some old albums released on ridiculous formats.

I would love to give out zines and literature as well. I'm wracking my brains trying to make a pamphlet about the state of the music industry. I believe we need to abandon the whole model of "the biz" and focus on DIY culture. I've got a lot of thoughts on the subject and nothing is focused as of yet. I should probably practice the set at some point...

Shows Page Update

1/18/26      Today I've updated the Shows page for desktop to me more bearable. The mobile version should be the same but I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. As a bonus treat I've also posted the upcoming shows I have and all the information I don't. Come along on this journey as we both discover who I'm playing with and in some cases what city I still need to book 😭.      Any non aesthetic suggestions would be greatly appreciated to make this the best damn mockery of the worst the 90's word wide web has to offer. A few months ago I went to the Neocities Subreddit to ask about an issue I was having with the site. I posted a link to it so folks could see what was going on and the top comment was someone saying it was the worst looking website they had ever seen. The second comment was just "I'll kill you!".   Both were greatly appreciated.

Last Night's Show 1/16/26- Friendship Mountain, Egg Harbor, NJ

  1/17/26         Last night I performed at Friendship Mountain in scenic Egg Harbor New Jersey in support of Plutonian Burrito's Winter tour. The entire day was a fucking doozie. Most of the things that could have went wrong did and I spent the entire night until my set an anxious mess. Against all of that I had a wonderful evening with old and new friends and a reminder of why I love to play house shows.        I first met Plutonian Burrito at Friendship Mountain nearly a decade ago. Tomato Face was asked to play this show and having no prior knowledge of the space or the bands we jumped in head first. The show was great and ever since I have had a good rapport with both Scott and Charles and we've played various shows together since.
